Our mission at Patch Farms is to provide an interactive agricultural experience for developmentally delayed individuals.

Patch Farms depends on our communities’ support in order to provide an agricultural experience to developmentally delayed individuals. We continue to challenge, support and encourage these individuals to learn about installing irrigation, developing plans for a future fruit stand, clearing land and the planting/harvesting process.

This year our “special farmers” planted and harvested an acre of sweet corn, sunflowers, peppers and tomatoes. They also participated in community events such as Pelco’s 9th Annual “A Day to Treasure” attended by 2,000 special needs children. Other events included: Farm Grown Friday at Grizzly Stadium, Annual Art/ Craft & Planting Day and a First Annual “You Pick” BBQ. After raising the funds and building a chicken coop, our next goal is to construct a mobile fruit stand and restore a multipurpose barn.

We are in need of support from community members like you, in the form of Sponsorships, donations of silent auction items, arts & crafts contributors, and entertainment. With your help, we can continue to serve and support this special group of individuals.
